About the same size as the Ike D-day letter.

That example is in great condition. Commander's messages were a common way in which to communicate with and pass on praise to all ranks of an army formation. Quite a few of them were written on various topics during the war years and they were printed and distributed down to regiment level to be read by everyone.

Yes, there are a few Alexander messages from different time periods. Would be neat to find all of them. Thanks.
