This canteen was sent home by Abraham L. Clapp, serial 34257316, is a nice homemade box. Looks like Co. A 131 Engr Bn (G)

Box looks like teak or something similar.

Spaff your canteen was made by Osaka Aluminum in the Japanese year of 2601 (1941).

Nice box, that really adds history to an otherwise plain water bottle.
