I am proud to share a neat grouping to a RCAF veteran that I recently picked up. There is a lot of neat pieces here, including original newspaper clippings of the veteran's wartime service. Parts of his kit are there too, including wedge cap, sewing kit, and a heavy pair of gloves. The insignia group includes padded wings, Operations badge, sew-on ribbon bars, and many pieces of ribbon.

Well-worn wedge cap has faint ID written on the label. The gloves are marked with the Canadian acceptance mark. Anyone know what model these would be?

Also a really nice framed Halifax bomber print with notations--it identifies the exact aircraft and squadron of the vet!

A neat grouping for sure. I don't think they are digitized yet, but you could look into getting his mission debriefs. Really interesting reading.

Very nice grouping, the gloves im unfamiliar with although they do have a lot of similaritys with the US A10 glove

Thank you all for the positive feedback. I also noticed the similarity of the gloves with the A10s, and would have thought they were civilian until I found the acceptance markings. Where would one inquire about mission debriefs?
