A nice Polizei-Pickelhaube!

 

Since it has the Imperial (Emperor's) crown I take it to be a National Police helmet with only the National cockade and no state cockade. It appears to be the "Helm fur Schutzmanner bei der kaiserlichten Schutzmannschaft in Elsass-Lothringen". So, a Pickelhaube for the National Police in Elsass-Lothringen according to Erich Radecke in his book, "Polizei-Abzeichen Helm - Heraldik - Historie" Volume 1.
