April 24, 20197 yr #5 There is one in San Francisco. One gun from the 1904 Battery Chamberlin has been restored and they allow park visitors to "man the gun". It's pretty neat but it's been a while since I visited it. I found this on a quick youtube search... Here is some info on the preservation and visiting the gun. https://www.nps.gov/goga/learn/historyculture/battery-chamberlin-preservation.htm The area around the Golden Gate is chock full of old fortifications. It's really cool to hike around the headlands and see the ruins. And the scenery is breathtaking! Enjoy! mikie
