Just bought this today and I’ve never seen anything like it. Looked WW2 period and possibly Japanese so for $10 I took a chance. Any clue what it is?Posted ImagePosted Image

It does look like it could be a (field use) Tokkuri (徳利) to me. The characters on the bottom are too obliterated for me to read.

 

The characters in the circle could be Osaka (大坂) * * read right to left on the bottle
