Hitler youth maybe ? I know they used thinner boards.

Interesting, and I think you're right. Turns out I was wrong, I thought these were the boards I was trying to ID, but I'm actually trying to ID this one, which I think is a put-together, since it has a German style pip and Norwegian button...there is no base on this strap...
