The US navy used a point down star on some of their stuff, that being said I have no idea what this may be.

To me the bird looks like some depictions of a Phoenix. Either way, the cast image looks Asian in design to me.

Something in my memory says Indonesia but then when I googled that country's insignia nothing comes up.
