Helping a friend with some family mementos from WWI and found these. I realise that theyre German but cant seem to narrow down the shoulder boards. I think the belt buckle is maybe pre-WWI.

 

 

 

1. Grey shoulder board is Grenadier-Regiment König Friedrich Wilhelm IV (1.Pommersches) Nr.2

 

2. Yellow/red one is Fussartillerie-Regiment 24 (foot artillery).

 

3. Buckle is early 20th century (WW I) Saxony.

Thanks very much PK! These are bring-backs from her grandfather who was in the Canadian Mounted Rifles before he transferred over to the Royal Flying Corps.

Does the Saxon Model 1915 steel buckle have a maker mark on the back side? Just curious, as I'm helping a friend in Germany work on a new Imperial German buckle book.
