Is this sword a WW2 People's Army sword or a repo. A value would also be appreciated from you experts out there.

I have seen these dadao swords with the same markings over the last couple years while collecting Chinese items. I don't recall seeing it coming from Chinese fake sword sellers, but I am not sure if its real either.

This type of sword was always referred to as an "Executioners Sword", but this one appears to have a fake patina and new grip wrap.
