I found a 1915 dated Prussian lobstertail pickelhaube on ebay needs some work but looks like it would be a good restoration project. What does anyone else think?? I am not the seller of this item but i have bought from this seller before he has some great items..

It looks like it is just a rusty shell to me. Not enough parts for a restoration and wildly overpriced IMHO. This one would not be for me.

What would it be worth in this condition?

Well, I would think around $300 IMHO. Parts are hard to find and expensive. Since the shell is in poor condition overall you would only wind up with a so-so parts helmet that you have put a lot of time and effort and money in.

 

Just my thinking mind you.
