March 7, 20206 yr #1 I always get the Mk designations wrong, but here is a 1917 Mills bomb, presumed to be a parts piece as the lever is not correct, it is from a later model, nonetheless a very well marked piece. The second is a " Galt" manufacture, ("G" marked), Canadian. The War and Peace show in England had quite a few many years ago. They were sold off surplus Canadian training grenades and a dealer went to a lot of expense in reconditioning them in original colors with original paints ( varnish and shellacs). All Mills bombs have become hard to find in the States and command ridiculous prices...in my opinion.
