I picked up this trench coat for a whopping $8 at a Goodwill. I was rummaging through my assorted insignia and found these old Bundeswehr boards I've had forever and wondered if they would work on the coat. They seem to look right at home. My question is are these the correct boards for this coat or was a different style worn? Thanks!

What you have looks like a modern Bw trenchcoat. The shoulder boards are the ones for the obsolete woolen winter trench coat called "Pferdedecke" (horse blanket). PM me your address an I`ll send you a pair of correct ones (for free of course).
