Gwar sorry I missed this.I came to post more photos and I must extend my apology for not replying.Honestly as I stated before,I have not made a study of the Straussenbahn.I can only surmise. Most of the photos and video I have seen the town crest seems to be on the female uniforms more so than the male. Now that said the male great coats I have seen what appears to have town crest on,but have not seen a clear shot to say for sure.In fact I have often looked for what I believe are the town crest they used for the Straussenbahn at shows and online and have come up empty.I have often wondered if they possibly used Freicorps crest????
September 14, 20214 yr Author #39 Just in from Germany, cut and glued to a scrap book page. What I can lift and see underneath it appears to be from a magazine.
March 26, 20224 yr Author #40 A recent purchase, sold to me as a Reichsbahn photo......the tabs told a different tale.

The photo is not in the best focus, but the collar tab have just the winged wheel it appears. So he was most likely a lower pay grade or apprentice IMHO. Like the Reichspost, the Strassenbahn had pay grade/specialist cypers for the tabs. Now that said,I am far from well versed about the Strassenbahn,I just started collecting it as a result of people that misidentify it as Reichsbahn and tried to figure it out as I went.
May 19, 20224 yr Author #48 A recent acquisition,Nice detailed look at the visor cap and tabs. The cockade caught my attention right away I believe it represents Hannover.
