    Very neat!  These are seldom seen anymore.  NIce that it has sewn on cloth patches.

    Worn by Luftwaffe, Heer, Marine (Air Force, Army, Navy) air crews. In this case my guess is Heeresflieger (Army Aviation) because of the OD rank insignia (1st LT) w/o wings.

    Thanks for the info. Years ago a friend went to Germany 6 or 7 times a year to buy stuff. He sent banana boxes home full of stuff.  Rich A. in Pa.
