Hello all, 

I'm new member here, and have question about couple of my unknown Russian button. Maybe anyone know? I never seen that maker stamp with crossed battleaxe and number 47.

Similar to metallic buttons attached to my (sereral) Soviet-era military overcoats, raincoats, assorted jackets and tunics. What is the diameter of the button? The size helps determine if it's a front buttoning up type or for the sleeve (cuff), collar, etc.
