October 13, 20205 yr #1 After seeing some of the great Rhodesian collections posted here recently I was motivated to dig out my small collection. Many of the items I had purchased from an ex RLI member. these items are from the Royal Rhodesian Regiment except the brassard which was worn by British Troops during the transition of governments late in the war. there is a a more specific name for this group but it escapes me at the moment.
October 13, 20205 yr #3 Nice gear. The brassard is for The Commonwealth Monitoring Force 1979-1980. made up from troops from U.K., Australia, N.Z., Fiji, Kenya.

The Unit flag is for 4th(Manicaland) Battalion Royal Rhodesia Regiment.due to its size I’d say its a Storm Flag flown in place of a large flag in bad weather. 4 Bn. Was based in Umtali (now Mutare in Zimbabwe) and was honoured with Freedom of the city in 1965 and wore a feather hackle in white and blue (the colours of the city)behind the cap badge.

October 15, 20205 yr #10 Nice collection, the One I like the most would be the Tracker Combat Unit badge at the top.That was a hard working elite group of dedicated warriors.
