October 24, 20205 yr #1 All, I hope your day is going well. I was doing some shopping at a local antique mall and noticed this odd bayonet. I am no expert on bayonets so I am unsure which model/country/time period it is from but I'm assuming it is WW1? Potential Uruguayan base on some basic research? October 27, 20205 yr #2 It reminds me of some of the pre-WWI type French bayonets, but it's also different from the ones I am familiar with. But I'm FAR from any kind of expert on the subject. Good luck with an ID. Mikie

It's a uruguayan m1900 cruciform epee for the belgian 1895 FN mauser rifle, thats what you have here.
