Hey all, does anyone know why or how common it may of been to have a standard issue K98 bayonet with a parade scabbard? I can tell it’s a parade scabbard because of the two lines on the hook for the frog. The bayonet itself is an asw 1943 production one. The scabbard also has no serial number.

A standard issue S84/98 bayonet for the K98k rifle should have matching serial numbers on the blade and scabbard top. Some will not however.  A picture of your bayonet and scabbard would help us better answer your question.
