and his Number One dress badge which has been embroidered over the printed Rhino in navy blue cotton sewn into a disk with a brooch pin attachment.

 

Now those are nice!  I really loved the matched pair.  Drool!

Thanks Sarge and ski, the gentleman who gave these badges to me volunteered to fight the Germans in 1939 from Rhodesia, enlisting in the Rhodesia Regiment, applied for a commission in the 1st Gurkha Rifles, served in the North west frontier, attached to Northern Rhodesia Regt. In Ceylon and Burma.
