I picked this up at a small flea market. Spanish for sure but is it SpanAm War era?

    Hello,

    I do not specialize in post 1865 buttons.  But I agree, this does have the look by patina and construction.   I moonlight in a very old building full of antiques.  I found the same or similar button in a box of junk which was of the same time period.  I assess it was likely a Span-Am souvenir, and I gave it to a kid who is really interested in history.
