Bought this pennant over the weekend.

A couple thought the insignia was an early Youth piece, others said they had no clue.

The embroidery on the flag is what I believe to be a city in Austria.

Thanks for any info.

Yes, maybe Altenfelden, Austria. In addition in Germany/Bavaria a small town (today a local center) with the same name does exist as well.

 

Don´t know if the wolf trap/circel insignia is from a youth organisation but I have seen it as a generic heraldic symbolhis at different crests.

I would think youth HJ/DJ or BDM as many made their own designs on one side of the wimples.
