Pulled this out to take photos for another forum and thought I would add them to here as well. As a young kid in the 70’s it was the first one I had ever bought….back then they were still very cheap

Nice helmet Dirk! This is the model used on the intro to Hogans Heroes right? Beautiful piece there. I started collecting 33 years ago, and the first piece I ever bought was a Prussian infantry spiked helmet. It is also still in my collection.
