Can anyone translate the kanji(i know some hard to see) or identify what type Japanese canteen this is. Thanks Dwayne

If you can get the canteen out of the cover look for more marks or kanji, but DO NOT force it out of the cover these old thin covers rip easily

Unfortunately i will not be able to as the side is sewn shut at one of the eyelets. And i will not cut it.

No worries im NOT into destroying items just for some hope of finding a mark. Any idea of the value of this canteen?

Hi Dwayne, by your photos and the condition IMHO I would say between $125.00 and $ 140.00, a dealer would get a little more, I believe 30% more.PM sent.
