THERE ARE SO MANY "RUSSIAN" WWII MEDALS FLOATING AROUND OUT THERE THAT I HAVE BEEN VERY RELUCTANT TO BUY ANY, BUT THESE TWO LOOK EXCELLENT, ESPECIALLY SINCE ONE HAS THE ORIGINAL (?) DOCUMENTATION:

 

1. VICTORY OVER JAPAN W/ DOCUMENTATION

 

2. MEDAL FOR BRAVERY -- HAVEN'T PREVIOUSLY SEEN ONE WITH ENAMELED LETTERS, AND IT HAS ENGRAVED SERIAL NUMBER

They look good to me. “Normally” the ones repro are the high level medals. Order of Lenin etc

With the amount of Russians who would have been awarded the lower and campaign medals . . . I'd think there would be an awful lot of originals out there, without having to make repros. They had a LOT of soldiers!
