November 17, 20214 yr #13 Very late to add to this thread, but it may be an “old” WWII vet, wearing his WWII uniform for a photo, taken in the 60’s-70’s…?? Not all veterans turned in or denazified their uniforms and equipment after the war. Leon DeGrelle (sp), though living in Spain, was notorious for wearing his uniform and insignia into his later years. I have also seen similar portraits taken of old veterans in their war regalia. The stamp on the back however looks fake….
