This image is from a large group of negatives I got from a private estate.  Trying to figure out where/when they were taken.  Do the markings/letters on the bomber give any indication of its squadron or where this airfield is? 

This is what I could find out so far: The signs DE & HU are not markings of a specific wing. Wing markings always consist of a letter and a number e.g. "Z3".

DE HU is most likely a so called "Stammkennzeichen" (producer marking) or "Überführungskennzeichen" (convey marking). These markings were painted on by the makers and removed when the plane was attached to a wing. Maybe your Junker saw action before they could change the markings.

I also found some double letter markings for training and test units but none of them was "DE". Now we have to verify that DE represents Junker. Hope this helps.
