Which Soviet camo pattern is this? Help appreciated.

I can't figure it out. There are so many.

It has a Makarov holster built into it.

There are also a matching pair of trousers.

It looks like VSR camouflage. Camopedia lists it as post USSR though developed in the 1980s.

Welcome, I'd only seen the green background type before, but going by the shapes of the green and brown it seems to be VSR pattern. I had not realised there were quite so many colour variations.

This is the writing inside.

Looks like 1997.

FYI Size 50 4 would be a medium 40" chest, tall 5'9"

That looks like a VSR Reed Pattern camo uniform for MVD troops (although regular Russian Army units were spotted wearing them too). Developed 1995-96. Used extensively by MVD troops during the Chechen Wars. There's also an urban camo version of this which is dark grey/light grey/black in colour.

 

The buttons should be marked with "MVD" in Cyrillic.
