I saw this buckle for sale on ebay.

The seller doesn't know where it is from.

I like it but I would  like to know it's origin.

Does anyone recognize it?

This is supposedly an older Egyptian airborne or airmobile cap badge from the 1973 Yom Kippur War period.

Update: thanks to your positive ID'S I was able to purchase the belt and buckle with confidence as to it'd origin.

Nice item, I confess to being close to buying it myself. I missed out on getting the same badge at an auction a few months ago.

The challenge with this stuff is good reference material.
