seller has no more info other than it was acquired in Japan many years ago and came with WWII IJA canteen

 

I note that many of these were made by a British company as marked inside at crown of helmet.

 

Thoughts?  Seems fake ones would use some crap reproduction rather than a genuine Brit production one?

Looks fine, but not a Generals helmet, just Army officer unless there is something I am missing? The star merely denotes Army.   Scott
