This flag came out of my neighbor's house. My initial impression was that it was good. The construction is excellent, but a friend of mine says it should not have the loose cord on the one side. He said this is indicative of reproductions - I have never heard this, but I am not sure. Size roughly 2x4 feet. Thoughts?  Thanks ABN

The rope does not bother me, as that is how thy used them, but for me it should be "Reichskriegsflagge" not "Fahne". I would also expect a size stamping, possibly a manufacturer, (an Eagle-M if it were Navy used) and heavily re-enforced edge corners on the fly end.  I would also black light that one.

No other stamps. No reinforcement. No glow under black light.
