Somewhere in Germany, two SS Men, Coca Cola Sign in the background, unit date unknown. probably in like 1941 say, as they are still wearing the collar tabs on the greatcoat, and one that we can see no longer wearing the Red White Swastika Shield Decal on the Helmet, that was ordered removed  sometime in 1940.

But the gist of it is that Third Rich collector Kevin Wheatcroft crawled down into the ruins of the Berghof bowling alley in 1989 and this is what he reported:

“They were Hitler’s (Wheatcroft is referencing some wine racks),” he said, laying a proprietary hand upon the nearest one. “We pulled them out of the ruins of the Berghof [Hitler’s home in Berchtesgaden] in May 1989. The whole place was dynamited in ’52, but my friend Adrian and I climbed through the ruins of the garage and down through air vents to get in. You can still walk through all of the underground levels. We made our way by torchlight through laundry rooms, central heating service areas. Then a bowling alley with big signs for Coke all over it. Hitler loved to drink Coke. We brought back these wine racks.”

Hello,

Since Fanta was mentioned and is related to Coke; here is a Fanta bottle in my collection.  Sorry for the bad picture but the bottle is carefully balanced in an inter-artifact display and would be a pain to take out of the case.

Mine is dated I think 1942 or 43.  Fanta bottle are pretty scare.  Most are totally clear.  This is the 'aqua' variant which seems harder to find.  I prefer the look of aqua and really had to look to find one.

I think the aquas were made at an odd ball glass factory.  I saw a gorgeous non-dug deep aqua bottle being sold out of Austria and wondered if the aquas were made there.

My dug aqua came from a relic digger in Poland.

It would be neat to know where the aquas were made if anyone knows... Cheers!

Somewhere in Germany 1937, a somewhat mountainous region by the background, maybe the Harz, or Bavaria perhaps.
