October 29, 20214 yr #5 Many Italian Infantry Divisions did not have Consecutive Constituent Artillery Units. So we find the 46th Artillery Regiment was in the 102nd Motorized Division "Trento" It was North Africa. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/102nd_Motorized_Division_"Trento"
October 29, 20214 yr #6 Yours is a rather plain one as it lacks the stylized Ring ,this stylized ring if that's what it's called I think represents a Truck Wheel, as a Motorized Artillery Regiment it should have this, BUT this may be a standard Cap badge for Artillery that was just issued out with the individual putting or had put the regimental number. Here's another one for the 46th Motorized Artillery Regiment, this like your only it has White Ticks to represents this stylization.
