Can anyone help me ID this Italian patch? It was with the effects of a WW2 British soldier, so I am thinking it is WW2 vintage. Thanks.

Thanks. Do you know where they served during WW2?

Is it the 46th Artillery Regiment or the 46th Divisional Artillery?

Many Italian Infantry Divisions did not have Consecutive Constituent Artillery  Units.

So we find the 46th Artillery Regiment was in the 102nd Motorized Division "Trento" It was North Africa.

Yours is a rather plain one as it lacks the stylized Ring ,this stylized ring if that's what it's called I think represents a Truck Wheel, as a Motorized Artillery Regiment it should have this, BUT this may be a standard Cap badge for Artillery that was just issued out with the individual putting or had put the regimental number.

Here's another one for the 46th Motorized Artillery Regiment, this like your only it has White Ticks to represents this stylization. Again, this may be a standard Cap badge for Artillery that was just issued out with the individual putting or had put the regimental number, as well as the White Ticks.
