These helmets were in use in New Zealand from 1965 to 1972.0A6B4B41-4D11-435E-887D-E24AD3677477.jpeg.05676a34a06bdcc3479242554b4d7194.jpeg

A nice example of a Mk II HSAT as produced by C.C.L (Charles Collett Ltd, London England ) all topped off with an Australian war time woven green camo net ..

Mark the net is New Zealand made it is a piece of what we call “sweat rag” or scrim. Soldier’s would be issued a section of this cut from a roll, if you had a good Company Quartermaster you got a metre if not you might get a foot. Still issued today and still only in Dark green.(although I do Have a section in a sand colour with a Sniper Guillesuit.)
