Photo of Russian POW's (?) in WW2 Germany Or?

Can anyone determine the approximate location as to where these photos were taken from the various signs in these pictures?  I am thinking that the marching column is Russian prisoners ca: 1943 or so.

When regarding the uniforms at picture No. 1 I would have datet them rather late 1941 or spring 1942 than 1943. These are typical photos of Russian POW columns taken at the early phase of the Russian campaign. Any writing on the back of the photos?

To answer your question, I think the photos were taken in Western Russia (No. 1) and Eastern Belarus (No. 2). I´m sure you also have already searched possible locations referring to the depicted road signs so here are my assumptions:

Thanks again PK.  The maps make it much easier to approximate the location of the photos.   To be clear (I hope), the photos are all taken from a single 40 frame 35mm negative film roll.  In my first photo above the bottom portion (signs and POW's) appears first on the roll followed by a group of photos of a mobile anti-aircraft gun/crew. The signs with the soldiers standing by them appear toward the end of the roll so was taken later.  So the sign pictures were not taken at the same time or place like I had assumed.  I added a photo collage here that shows the order that the pictures were on the roll, #1 being toward the front of the roll and #3 toward the end.
