February 3, 20224 yr #1 Can anyone make out the lettering on the two Hitler Youth triangular shaped patches in these photos? The pics were on the same roll of film of one family so they might read the same. Hoping they might give a hint as to where the photos were taken. The one on the right was being worn by a young girl but the jacket was kind of worn looking so may have been an older hand-me-down.
February 3, 20224 yr #3 I agree it appears to be West Westfalen. The one on the left has a DJ rune and is on a HJ shirt.The left photo is on what looks to be a BDM kletterjacke .So the left one would have had the gold/yellow lettering the one on the right would have white lettering.
February 4, 20224 yr Author #4 Thank you Daskrieg and Jack for the quick responses. From other photos in the group, I have come to believe that many of my photos were taken in or near Ascheberg which is in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia so a West Westfalen patch makes sense!
