Hello everyone. So I got this post card and was wondering if there’s anyway to tell if they’re in fact German soldiers?  I don’t see badges or any patches that would lead me to believe they are. I might be wrong. You all are the pros maybe you can see something I don’t. Let me know what you guys think. Again, I really appreciate everyone’s feedback. 

I am thinking they may be SA (Sturmabteilung). aka Brownshirts..

I agree with Rakkasan187, looks like early SA

SA didn’t wear a black tie and where are the armbands?

The No arm band did throw me off. But the design and even buttons do match with the SA look. 

Are they early SS with the black tie?

 

 

When I was researching more online I did see some SS soldiers with the same outfit. So it’s a possibility. 

After the Beer hall putsch the SA were not allowed by law to wear any insignia etal.....so draw your own conclusion.

The SA, did not have a formal uniform until November 1926.  Most people don’t know that the first uniform was Grey tunics with white shirts and black ties, the there was a switch to the brown tropical shirt.
