February 23, 20224 yr #1 Hello everyone. So I got this post card and was wondering if there’s anyway to tell if they’re in fact German soldiers? I don’t see badges or any patches that would lead me to believe they are. I might be wrong. You all are the pros maybe you can see something I don’t. Let me know what you guys think. Again, I really appreciate everyone’s feedback.
February 23, 20224 yr #2 I am thinking they may be SA (Sturmabteilung). aka Brownshirts.. The shirt that I posted is similar in design to the one in your photo. Leigh

February 23, 20224 yr #10 After the Beer hall putsch the SA were not allowed by law to wear any insignia etal.....so draw your own conclusion.
March 11, 20233 yr #11 The SA, did not have a formal uniform until November 1926. Most people don’t know that the first uniform was Grey tunics with white shirts and black ties, the there was a switch to the brown tropical shirt.
