Here are some SA men with upside down question marks on their chests and black bands that cover their armbands. Was this photo taken when it was outlawed to wear the armband?

Picture 1: Major Dincklage was an Officer and NSDAP official who died in 1930. The plane depicted is one of the German government (D-AQiT) Ju 52 wing, named for Major D.

Picture 2: Looks more like a "6" with buttonhole about it for me. Maybe the number of the group? on their way to a SA event? Black armband could also be a crape.

Picture 3: I don´t know the meaning/translation of "cake" in this context but depicted is a stone bed (right term?) with the insignia & designation of Stab II. Abteilung Feldartillerieregiment 73 in Erfurt (HQs 2nd Bn 73rd FieldArty garrisoned in Erfurt).  Hope this helps.

Thanks so much. That’s a great help.
