For the record this was bought in the US, and from someone who's house had burned down with his uniform collection thankfully surviving. Another question, if this uniform turns out to be put together, would it be a good idea to remove the patches off of it?

This is an enlisted rank 4 pocket infantry tunic which was "improved" through the adding of

- one Panzerlehrbrigade 9 cuff title (these are always applied in pairs on both sleeves with sewing machine),

- Officer bullion shoulder sleeve insignia,

- wrong metal Feldwebel (NCO) angle on enlisted shoulder boards,

- a DSB cloth sports badge which is only worn on sport clothes.

 

I´m sorry but I have to tell you that this uniform is a 100% put-together.

And yes, I would remove all insignia except the collar insignia and the shoulder boards.
