May 9, 20224 yr #1 Came across this the other day, a Knights Cross Holder wearing Red or Carmine SS like rank collar patche, with narrow multi colored shoulder straps, Silver intertwined with Black or Dark Green? and on the other patch what looks like what, a propeller? any IDes?
May 9, 20224 yr #2 These collar tabs are from the WWII ITALIAN WAFFEN SS 29TH DIVISION , the other is the 'Wolfsangle' for the Dutch S.S. Volunteer, this may be a good place to start your research, IMO
May 9, 20224 yr #3 It’s an SA Feldherrnhalle collar tab. I at one time found the uniform with a gorget. Bob McCarthy got it from me. Prep
May 30, 20224 yr #5 Yes that uniform would belong to SA Feldherrnhalle. Originally this was a ceremonial unit tasked with guarding sites that were venerated by the NSDAP. Once the war started, some elements were transferred to the luftwaffe and the army. Those who served in the original guard unit and those who were transffered to the army units were allowed to wear an honor cufftitle "Feldherrnhalle."
