WW1 German Sanitater & Musiker' Personnel, Assigned to an Infantry Kompanie ?

Hello Gentlemen,  I'm trying to determine the relative difference in function / duties within the unit of an WW1 era, 'German Sanitater & Musiker' Soldier, as assigned to an Infantry Kompanie ? ( In this instance, it was the 80th Reserve Infantry Regiment. ) My primary question is, to determine if there was an difference between the duties of an Sanitater, as opposed to those of a Musket ? Were the 2 duty designations actually the same, or did they both have separate duties ? And, would the Musket be expected to play an instrument, or was it simply his designation ? ANY input, & or comments here will be very much appreciated !! THANK YOU Folks,

               Best regards,    Dom P.

Until today all German Army (Imperial Army, Reichswehr, Wehrmacht, Bundeswehr) military musicians were trained as medics.  During wartime they were assigned to combat or other units serving as combat medics.

THANKS Lars !! That makes sense to me, as I was having a hard time trying to figure out if the 2 respective duties / functions were separate, or basically combined, which is apparently the case. As usual, you came through for me. THANKS AGAIN, & Take care,

              Best,   Dom
