A memorandum from 1966 that includes a basic "Clothing and Equipment Authorization List" for the regular ARVN, Regional Forces, and Popular Forces. Keep in mind there are some things on the list that did not or rarely saw use among the ARVN, such as "Field Pack, Canvas" (Which are buttpacks) and "Shelter Half, Complete" to name a few. Also keep in mind the number of the item authorized may not be accurate either, such as ARVN troops only being authorized one "Case, Small Arms, Ammo" (M56 ammo pouch) when they definitely had more as seen through photographic evidence. Despite this, I believe this would at least be a good primary source material to use as some kind of reference, especially when online information on the ARVN is lacking in general.
