Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts when it comes to militaria, I usually buy photographs without being able to see the reverse, I buy them in the hopes of gaining clues to the leadership of the Reichs arbeits dienst, I passed by this blurry, bargain priced pic a few times before purchasing, glad I did, this is a picture of Arbeitsfuhrer Baumgartner, Arbeitsgau XXVII Baden, Gruppe 274, Bruchsal, I'm very happy I bought this one on a hunch !

    I think hunches tend to play out better when drawn on increasing levels of experience. Great find!
