July 21, 20224 yr #1 Hello Everybody, I just got this from a good friend of mine and thought I’d share it. I believe it’s an early NVA cap with neck flaps. It’s even named to its original owner. I hope everyone enjoys the photos. thanks Vic
August 7, 20223 yr #3 Very nice! That's a Văn Tiến Dũng cap, named after the general responsible for its creation. They began to be issued around 1966-1967 but from what I've seen they weren't very common until a few years later. In the early 70s they deleted the flaps.
