    I see there is a German Policeman guarding this pile of captured/surrendered helmets.  In fact, the German Police did use captured helmets in their training academies by just painting them and adding German Polizei decals to them.  And... the Czechs used German helmets as well.

    The Hełm wz. 31 being worn by a Engineer NCO, note the glimpse of the Steurmann Badge. His komrad  there discovered or found a Top Hat to wear LOL
