Something I've been curious about for years,

 

Three examples of many photos of these Blackshirts during the war, and after up in Northern Italy in the new Salo Republic. wearing these literally on the rear of the head, I guess for parade purposes, but how did did they keep them on, with Bobby Pins!   I can't imagine they could do anything rigorous, like running for long till the caps fell off 1946237028_emoticonlaugh.png.31cac6576062881e823c323011d614f2.png
