Are there any post war German Army experts?

 

This belt came with a load of gear in an auction about 6 years ago and would like to know if it is Cold War or later.

 

The number on the belt is 2506Y9211

Which makes me wonder if it is 1992 manufactured. No reference to this number on google.

Hi Paul,

it´s the standard Bundeswehr "Lederkoppel mit Kastenschloss" worn with the dress uniform. It was introduced 1962 and is still in use today. Your dark silver variant is worn by all ranks except generals, their belts do have golden buckles.
