Here's an unusual item that I received with some other Iraqi items.  I conclude that it's a table medal/award from the Iraqi Armed Forces awarded sometime between 1965-1991.  As everyone can see, it's not very well done so it could be a local made piece, perhaps during the Iran-Iraq War.  The size of the object is a bit larger than a US silver dollar.

 

If anyone has a more positive ID on it or what it could have been given for, please let me know.

 

It is a veterans emblem, not sure for what? Not a table medal, those are usually presentation pieces in color and in fitted cases. The back is the Jihm representing the armed forces. Hope this helps some.
