I have a M91/38 (so I'm told) Italian fixed bayonet.  11 inches long with a wooden handle, and an 8 inch steel scabbard.  It has a U inside a circle stamped on blade, F78025 stamped on blade, ROCCA stamped on blade, and what looks like an eagle (?) sitting on top of a circle or wreath with an X or maybe a swastika inside the circle/wreath that's stamped on the wooden handle.  What do these markings mean and is this a M91/38 bayonet?  Also, is it supposed to fit the Model 1938 Carcano short rifle?  Thanks.

Official designation "Baionetta con lama fissa Modello 91/38." ( Paul Kiesling, Bayonets Of The World.)

It will fit the 1938 Carcano short rifle.

ROCCA is the manufacturer, but I know nothing of them except the name. Hopefully other forum members can add information about ROCCA.

With better pictures, perhaps the other stamps could be identified.

Yes, bear in mind that the fixed blade bayonets are considered less valuable than the folding blade examples.
