Gents,

 

I picked up this nicely embroidered bullion Carabinieri Officer cap insignia at a local militaria show yesterday that I thought I would show. These were worn on various pieces of Italian Fascist headgear but those made for enlisted men were made in white thread. Notice the "VE" (King Victor Emanuel) initials in the bomb part of the flaming bomb insignia.  The Italians did nice bullion insignia embroidery IMHO.
